Promotion von Selina Eckel

  • Datum: 16.03.2026
  • On March 16, 2026, Selina Eckel successfully defended her thesis ‚A Broadband EPR Spectrometer Using Transmission Line Microwave Probes‘.

In her PhD research, she developed a broadband Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectrometer and demonstrated its capability to operate at frequencies up to 110 GHz. EPR is a powerful, non-invasive technique widely used in biology, chemistry, and physics to probe materials at the molecular level.

Her work spans both system design and the development of advanced on-chip components, resulting in a highly versatile measurement platform. It enables new experimental capabilities and lays the groundwork for future miniaturized, high-frequency magnetic resonance technologies.

We congratulate Selina and wish her all the best for her future.
