The IHE offers the following specializations for the Master:
- Field of specialization 11 - Hochfrequenztechnik
- Field of specialization 15 - Mikro- and Nanoelektronik (cooperation with IMS)
- Field of specialization 16 - Kommunikationstechnik (cooperation with CEL and IPQ)
- Field of specialization 17 - Information and Communication (cooperation with CEL and IPQ)
- Field of specialization 19 - Ausrüstungssyteme für Luft- und Raumfahrt (cooperation with CEL)
- Field of specialization 25 - Sensorsysteme (cooperation with IRS, IIIT and IPQ)

The fields of specialization 11, 15, 16, 19 and 25 include German and English lectures. The field of specialization 17 (Information and Communication) can be completed with only English lectures.
