Advanced lecture on high-frequency technology:

The lecture focuses on teaching how all essential antenna structures function and providing insight into modern antenna systems and antenna measurement technology.

The workshop puts the theoretical content covered in the lecture into practice. The aim is to familiarize students with the entire process of antenna development, from computer-aided design to the construction and measurement of antennas. CST Microwave Studio is used as the design and simulation tool. CST Microwave Studio is one of the standard software tools used in industry and research, which means that learning how to use the software can also be of enormous benefit later on.

Antenna design with CST Studio Suite is carried out in the pool rooms of the SCC computer center. The antennas are later assembled on the IHE premises and characterized in the antenna measurement chamber.
