Ruijia Liu (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Chengdu, China, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree from Southeast University (SEU), Nanjing, China, in 2022, both in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. From October 2022 to August 2024, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the RF and Microwave Research Group, University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland.
Since September 2024, he has been an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, where he is currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Ad Astra Fellow). Since June 2026, he has also been an Humboldt Research Fellow with the Institute of Radio Frequency Engineering and Electronics (IHE), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
His research interests include monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier (PA) and RFIC design for RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave applications.
