HiWi for Integrated Rx Beamforming Circuit Design

  • Job posting:

    • You will support the development of a D-band (140 GHz) on-chip RF frontend featuring integrated analog beamforming for Joint Communication and Sensing (JCAS) applications.
     

    • Your main focus will be on the design of active and passive components in the receiver (Rx) chain, particularly low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) and phase shifters.
     

    • This position offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art III/V and BiCMOS technologies and provides valuable insight into millimeter-wave (mmWave) circuit and component design.
     

    Requirements

    • Successful completion of RFE, RFIC, or MRSE courses with a solid grasp of the covered material
    • Experience with RF simulation tools such as Cadence Spectre or Keysight ADS
    • Familiarity with EM simulation tools (e.g., Cadence EMX, RFPro, or ADS Momentum) is an advantage
